In her prior role as a Staff Attorney with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), Samantha Serna Uribe spoke in Spanish with Radio Fórmula regarding Texas' challenge to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and legal arguments before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

"Aunque DACA se termine como lo tenemos ahora, ahí hay una especie de remedio político que es que el presidente cree algo nuevo", indicó Serna Uribe."

Translation: "If DACA as we know it now ends, there would be need for a political solution by the President to create something new."
